2. Products and Custom‑Made Items
Job Eijlders specializes in exclusive, custom‑made and upcycled dresses and accessories.
All custom‑made items are produced based on the measurements, preferences, and information provided by the customer.
Due to the custom nature of the products:
- Each item is unique
- Minor variations in color, fabric, or finish may occur
- Products may differ slightly from website images, which are indicative only
These variations do not constitute defects.
3. Orders and Contract Formation
The agreement between Job Eijlders and the customer is concluded when:
- The customer explicitly approves the design and/or proposal; and
- Job Eijlders confirms the order, either in writing or by starting production after receipt of any (advance) payment.
Job Eijlders reserves the right to refuse an order with valid justification.
4. Prices and Payment
- All prices are stated in euros (€) and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise
- Additional costs (such as shipping) are clearly communicated before the order is finalized
- Payment may be made via bank transfer and/or online payment methods
- For custom‑made products, an advance payment of 30–50% may be required
Production will only commence after receipt of the required payment.
5. Delivery
- Delivery times are indicative and depend on the custom‑made production process
- Any stated delivery date is an estimate only
- Delays do not automatically entitle the customer to compensation or cancellation, unless the delay is unreasonable under Belgian consumer law
Orders are delivered to the address provided by the customer. The customer is responsible for ensuring that delivery details are correct.
6. Right of Withdrawal – Custom‑Made Products
Under Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law and Article 16(c) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications.
Therefore:
- Custom‑made products cannot be returned
- Orders cannot be withdrawn once production has started
The customer explicitly agrees to this exclusion of the right of withdrawal when placing an order.
7. Cancellation Before Production
- The customer may cancel the order before production begins
- If an advance payment has been made, Job Eijlders may retain part or all of the payment to cover costs already incurred (such as design work or material purchases)
Any retained amount will be proportionate and justified.

Job Eijlders cannot be held liable for defects or fitting issues arising from incorrect or incomplete information provided by the customer.

If a product shows a lack of conformity that is not related to the custom nature of the product or customer‑provided information, the consumer is entitled to remedies provided by law.
10. Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- Job Eijlders is not liable for indirect or consequential damages
- Job Eijlders is not liable for damage caused by improper use, negligence, or normal wear and tear
In all cases, liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the product, except in cases of fraud, gross negligence, or where the law does not allow such limitation.
